Baldan Lab
University of Nevada, Reno
Our lab is broadly interested in behavioral ecology, with a focus on the evolution of sexual conflict and parental care strategies.
Based in the Biology Department at the University of Nevada, Reno, we use bird species to understand the behavioral mechanisms and evolutionary consequences of variation in mating and parenting.
While we have opportunities for research and fieldwork locally in the Reno area, much of our work takes place in Italy, where we study our favorite species, the rock sparrow.
